Animal Painting:
Animal painting is an art portraying animals, their beauty, characteristics, gestures and life. The artist interprets and creates an artwork of various techniques such as oil on canvas painting, acrylic painting, watercolor painting and other mediums using paints.
This gallery of animal paintings depicts wildlife and beast of burden animal painting , like horse animal paintings, dog animals paintings, cats animal paintings, fish and animal painting . Animals are members of the kingdom animalia, which comprises all multicellular organisms whose cell are bound only by a plasma membrane. Animals obtain energy by acquiring and ingesting their food and nutrients. Animals are eukaryotes; meaning their cells contain organelles. Their body plan eventually becomes fixed as they develop, although some undergo a process of metamorphosis later on in their life. Most animals are motile, meaning they can move spontaneously and independently. Animals are also heterotrophs, meaning they are dependent on other organisms such as plants for sustenance.
Most known animal phyla appeared in the fossil record as marine species during the Cambrian explosion, about 542 million years ago. The word "animal" comes from the Latin word animale, neuter of animalis, and is derived from anima, meaning vital breath or soul. In everyday colloquial usage, the word usually refers to non-human animals. The biological definition of the word refers to all members of the Kingdom Animalia. Therefore, when the word "animal" is used in a biological context, humans are included.
