Stripper solutions removes all the latex coating, solid and semi-transparent stains, varnishes, polyurethane and water sealers. Stain strippers also cleans the surfaces to remove graying and stains from molds mildews. The wood surface is dry and around 50°F for the duration of the project before applying the stain stripper. Apply the stain stripper with the nilon brush or roler. Apply stain stripper for two coating to be removed and wait for 10 to 45 minutes to stain stripper dissolve the coating, do not allow it to dry. |

Typically old coating will ringe off when ready, however stubborn coating or poorest damage wood may require scrubbing with the stipped bristle brush of scrapping may require. Working the direction of the wood grain to minimized grain damage. |

Ringe the wood thouroughly with water garden hose or power washer and a setting of no higher than 500 to 800 psi, if the pressure washing hold with the distance of 9 to 12 inches. Some areas need brushing, improper washing will cause damage the wood. After washing and still wet, apply the brighterner. |
The application of brightener products by Benjamin Moore has concentrated formula, robust product that thoroughly removes tannin and rust stains. This compound even breaks the mill glaze left on new wood, and counteracts the darkening effects on tannin-bearing woods.
Allow 24 hours to dry. Once dry, a slight sanding for the entire surface to prepare for staining, use 80, 120 or 150 grade of sand paper. Vacumm and clean the dust then wipe with dry rags.
When the wood is clean, apply first coat of stain penetrating the grains of wood, let it dry for final and even coats of stain.
